Stars Training Academy recently presented at CMHACY’s Virtual Conference on a collaboration with two University of Washington Professors, Angelique Day and Cynthia Pearson, and members of the Yakama Nation to adapt and implement a culturally grounded version of the Transition to Independence Process, (TIP) Model® through incorporating traditional Native American values, tribal language, images, and culture to help tribal youth and young adults.
