First and Foremost, we want to let you know that we are wishing you, your staff and the youth and young adults you serve, safety and peace of mind during these troubling times. The health and safety of your employees and clients, as well as our Academy Team members, remains a top priority and we are doing our best to comply with all local, state and government requirements for social distancing.
We also want to thank you for your patience during this very challenging situation and appreciate your flexibility with the scheduling/adjustments to our training and consultation visits. The Stars Training Academy Leadership is closely monitoring the status of the COVID-19 outbreak and its potential adverse impact on our contracted service providers such as yourself.
As the number of cases continues to escalate globally, Stars Training Academy is taking additional preventive measures such as delaying and rescheduling site-visits and live-event trainings to help minimize the potential spread of the disease within our locations. In addition, we have delayed travel for our Academy trainers until at least the beginning of May 2020 (contingent on Pandemic status). Stars Training Academy will work to regularly communicate with you updated information regarding any changes/impacts to the delivery of our consultation services and supports.
In the interim, we are offering a variety of temporary solutions to continue to provide training and consultation services, including:
- Teleconferencing: We can provide a variety of support including staff-development, Supervisor/Management consultation and TIP Solutions Reviews.
- Online Video Conferencing: We are currently securing an Administration Platform for ZOOM Online Service and we are open to exploring any other online service to provide services remotely. There are a variety activities we can provide including staff-consultations, Technical Service Support, and TIP Solutions Reviews (TIP-Integrated Case-Reviews).
- Virtual Training: We are available to conduct remote live-stream training for your staff including TIP Core-Practice Trainings, TIP Enhancer Trainings, and TIP Site-Based Trainer Observations. Although remote training services are not optimal as compared to our in-person trainings, they are still beneficial to the growth and development of your team and their service application.
We urge you to contact your TIP Model Trainer/Consultant, or me, to discuss remote-learning options for your site for TIP Model® Training, on-going technical assistance and implementation support over the next few months.
